A True Guitar Hero

A handmade electric guitar bag? Awesome. A tutorial? ROCKIN'.
Note: The original tutorial was created by Bored and Crafty and she only requests that you not sell any bags made with these guides. Now it's time to rock.

The Prom Dram
Okay, so would sequins in the shape of flames at the bottom of a cocktail-length prom dress be tacky (they would meet columns of white sequins perhaps)? Would this feather "hackle trim" be less tacky/better work with the dress (imagining that the top was covered in red, orange, and pink feathers)? Would they work together? Oh, I am so conflicted. The Prom Dram (that is really only in my head) is so overwhelming.

I think the flames would be a progression of the red to orange to gold to chartruse....I'm worried that the pink feathers would not carry to the bottom but I don't want a fire-colored bust....

Another Look at Big Bang
I may have already visited G-Dragon and his wacky T-shirts, but Big Bang is more than just G-Dragon's erratic style. Big Bang has taken on some rather interesting styles throughout their run as one of Korea's most popular boy bands. Let's take a look...in totally unchronological order!
Who's your favorite? (Mine's T.O.P., the one who looks like a Korean version of David Bowie)

Lady-o Gaga
When I first heard Lady Gaga's single, "Just Dance" I fell completely in love with the raucous dance beats and the out of control party of the song and video. However, like all good things (and many bad things), it went mainstream up to the point where my health class was discussing how a girl looked like Lady Gaga due to her blunt, low bangs.
Yet despite the overplay of Ms. Gaga I cannot help but admit to myself that I deeply adore her...also, her song "Boys, boys, boys" has become a repeated track inside my head. Let's face it, I love the exhibitionism and and the pop performance that Lady Gaga brings to the current stagnant music scene.

I'm quite interested in what she will create for her projected fashion line (the angular epaulettes/hip attachments are quite fetching and I am desperately in love with white blonde hair...also her tendency to avoid parents intrigues me)

Signature Pieces....
So I was browsing through Shopbop (I haven't the faintest idea why, I think I just have way too much time on my hands) and I saw this fairly awesome Anna Sui Long Hair Mongolian Lamb Fur Cape with the quote "The definition of boho-rock-star drama. This has 'signature piece' written all over it."This led me to realize that a) I probably need this cape (though the $400+ price tag makes me reconsider this bullet) and b) that although I guess we all need 'signature pieces', I would just prefer to have a wardrobe built out of signature pieces. Sure all websites say that to keep a good wardrobe people must get timeless, well-fitting pieces, patati-patata... but I feel that I would be happiest if I got rid of all the rest of my pieces that I feel so-so about and only kept the truly outstanding ones

Vogue Korea takes on the 80's
Vogue Korea recently published an interesting photo shoot in which takes a somewhat modern Korean twist on 80's fashion. The famous actress, singer, and model Yoon Eun Hye posed for the shoot. She's recently been seen in an incredibly large number of ad campaigns.
Thank god they forgot about shoulder pads.
